Resources
EIDO has access to the material and virtual institutional resources of the University of Vigo in a centralised manner, in the institutional facilities of the three campuses (Ourense, Pontevedra and Vigo), and in a decentralised manner, both in the faculties and schools and in the research structures (research centres and institutes, support centres).
Among the centralised resources, the following are particularly noteworthy:
- Digital and connectivity infrastructure: Personal ID, email, Wi-Fi/campus connectivity, file services/virtual private disk, web hosting, DNS service, audiovisual services, traditional and mass videoconferencing (AccessGrid) and multimedia, UVigo-TV, etc.
- E-learning platforms: MOOVI, Campus Remoto.
- Generic communication and dissemination resources: UVigo-TV, reservation of institutional spaces, social networks...
- University Library: It offers a wide range of information resources, spaces and services to support learning, teaching and research activities.
- Financial resources: Scholarships and grants, as well as financing possibilities (contracts) for research careers and support for mobility.
- Resources linked to scientific production (Research Portal), to the transfer of knowledge (R&D Office) and the dissemination of research.
- Training and professional development resources: Language resources, supervision and mentoring, continuous training.
