Quality programmes enable quality-related activities to be planned and organised over a specific period of time and targeted at a specific area and purpose. The doctoral programme adopts standards for both teaching (SGC programmes, Degree Monitoring and Accreditation, Satisfaction Surveys) and research (HR Excellence in Research programme). It also incorporates cross-cutting management programmes (QSP programme).

The University of Vigo has implemented, certified and/or accredited other institutional programmes or standards (quality, occupational health and safety, etc.) across its research centres and institutes, as well as its faculties and schools, which help to ensure and enhance the capabilities and resources of the EIDO and its doctoral programmes (e.g. infrastructure and services, staff).
Its achievements, along with the certifications and accreditations it has obtained, contribute to the university’s reputation and to its reputation and impact.
